About me

Hi, my name is Sharon Shulman.

I am the owner and principal employee of HANDS-ON TECH, LLC with over twenty years of experience in Student Information Systems with a focus on school scheduling, State and Federal data reporting, end-user training and customizations (reports, SQL, pages).

I bring a different perspective to the process. As an educator I am well aware of the requirements for all aspects of the reports and the ramifications, with regard to funding that impact a district’s bottom line.

My work in student information systems includes: PowerSchool®, Genesis®, Real-Time®, MacSchool, SASI, Chancery SMS and others.

My experience includes:

• PowerSchool® Administrator for the Union City Board of Education
• Master Scheduler for several High and Middle Schools
• Working with both urban and suburban school districts
• Familiarity with the school within a school concept that identifies distinct groups of students to be scheduled
• State and federal reporting requirements 
• As a former teacher I am well equipped to provide training for all personnel from Secretaries to Principals – Supervisors to Teachers.
• New Data Manager training in SIS and Reporting Compliance
